About CERG
The Educating 4 Democracy website is a collection of videos and resources for educators, leaders, and school districts interested in preparing youth for democracy. This site was developed by the Civic Engagement Research Group (CERG). The videos on this website have been developed by CERG through partnerships with school districts and, at times, with other organizations such as the Teaching Channel.
CERG is based out of the Graduate School of Education at the University of California, Riverside. CERG’s mission is to conduct research, develop resources, and engage in education reform efforts that promote equitable, informed, and effective youth civic and political participation. To learn more about our research and publications, visit our main project website here.
